Past Events
The 2nd Annual Petersburg & Alexandria Volunteer Fire Company Gun Raffle was held on May 8, 2010.  Thank you to everyone who helped with the event, to those who purchased tickets and came to support the fire companies and braved the weather and wind.   THANK YOU and hope to see you next year too!!!

Our installation banquet was held on Saturday, March 27, 2010.  Guest speaker for the night was Ralph Parsons Jr. who started his fire fighting career out as a junior fire fighter with Petersburg.  We then went into awards presentations, Josh Fitzgerald was award Fire Fighter of the Year and The Chiefs Award, along with being the fire fighter who logged the most calls.  Wendy Dunmire was awarded the Presidents Award for her continuous assistance to the President.  Life Time Memberships were given to Charles "Chuck" Taylor, Ron Waite, Jeff Glenny, and Normy Bumbarger for their service past and present to the fire company.  Recognition was also given to Fire Queen, Kimberly Houck and Little Princess Reagan Lightner.  Also certificates of appreciation were given to the Alexandria Vol. Fire Co., Shavers Creek Vol. Fire Co., Juniata Valley Ambulance, Twin Creeks Ambulance, Huntingdon Regional Fire & Rescue, Logan Township, and Petersburg Borough. Stand By coverage for the nigh was provided by the Bald Eagle Vol. Fire Company.

Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th from 11AM to 2PM, There will be Safety House for Kids, The Alexandria Volunteer Fire Company will over with their NEW LADDER Truck "Quint 1", and Juniata Valley Regional Police, and Smokey the Bear.

July 8th,9th,10th, and 11th 2009, Huntingdon County Firemens Associations Conventions, Hosted by the Saxton Volunteer Fire Company, Saxton, PA.

The Petersburg & Alexandria Volunteer Fire Companies Gun Raffle was Held May 9, 2009                        We  would like to Thank All who who showed their support by purchasing tickets, who came to drawing, and to all who helped the day of the event to make it a success.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT  and we look forward to seeing you next year!!!!!!!

Cash Parties
Each year we host 2 to 3 cash parties, if you have never been to a PVFC cash party you will want to make sure you attend one.  The food is always great and lets not forget about the chance to win some cash!!  So if you are interested give us a call or the next time you see a member ask when the next one is so we can let you know.

Dinners
The 3rd Saturday of each month we hold a dinner.  It's a good, all you can eat home cooked meal served buffet style.
